Earlier today, we shared with our team the difficult news that we are implementing company-wide workforce changes. This decision was not made lightly and resulted in BenchSci saying goodbye to a group of incredibly talented individuals. The decision is a result of shifts in the economic environment, operational efficiencies, and adaptation to technological advancements, specifically Generative AI.

We believe that Generative AI will continue to reshape preclinical R&D and have a substantial positive impact on our customers. As we look towards our future, these changes will allow us to further our investment in Generative AI and work toward making drug discovery more efficient and help bring new medicine to patients faster. 

We are extremely thankful to every BenchScier for their continued dedication and partnership and are fully committed to supporting them through this transition.  

Earlier today, Google Cloud unveiled its new MedLM technology, its latest medically tuned model.

A few weeks ago, BenchSciers, including members of our Black@BenchSci ERG, attended the largest tech conference for Black professionals, the BFUTR conference in Toronto. This year, we expanded our partnership to have a booth, which allowed us to engage with over 400 individuals, forging valuable connections and expanding our talent pipeline.
