Yesterday, NIST released the first major update to its landmark Cybersecurity Framework since it's publication a decade ago. Some key changes include:
1️⃣ New, sixth function added: Govern. It is presented as the core around which the existing five functions revolve around. 
2️⃣ Expanded focus on supply chain risk management, grouped under the newly minted Govern function. 
3️⃣ Additional resources for practitioners on implementation including quickstart guides, implementation examples, and integrated guidance across other NIST guidelines.
