In the name of CO2 reduction: Over 3,000 kilometers by bike! 🚴‍♂️🌍

Once again, #TeamBilfinger participated in the German campaign #Stadtradeln, contributing to the promotion of emission-free mobility and environmental protection. This year, 26 dedicated cyclists from our team collectively covered 3,034 kilometers in 314 rides. This effort translates to a total of 503.6 kg of CO2 saved! 

📢 A big thank you to all participants for their outstanding performance and enthusiasm, representing our joint commitment at Bilfinger towards a more #sustainable future!

#Q2 financial results: Continuing our good business development 

We are proud to share our results for the second quarter 2024, which show significant growth in orders received, increased profitability, and a positive cash flow. We deliver on our strategy focusing on #efficiency and #sustainability. We see a stable to positive demand in all our target markets and benefit from an ongoing trend toward outsourcing across all regions.
 
Furthermore, our Q2 figures include the former Stork entities for the first time. Integration has successfully started, and we are already seeing synergy gains from our joint market presence. 

We confirm our outlook for 2024 as announced on our Capital Markets Day in June.

🎉 We are proud to announce our participation in a series of #engineering projects for Black Sea Oil & Gas SA under a universal framework agreement. The projects are part of the offshore #gas development project in the Black Sea in Romani - the first one in over 30 years. 🌊⚙️ 

#TeamBilfinger is the perfect partner  thanks to our in-depth energy market know-how in the region and our focus on #sustainability and #efficiency. 💪 Our Bilfinger Engineering experts have already completed several projects, with more underway. Our focus areas include:

✔ Detailed Design Services for incorporation of new Pig Traps System (#onshore and #offshore). The most complex project with involvement of all technical disciplines. 
✔ Several AS-BUILT projects, where the teams prepared the AS-BUILT documents package for different disciplines, based on red-markups prepared in site by General Contractor.
✔ Permitting and technical documentation for onshore and offshore, in accordance with the local legislation.

🎉 We’re thrilled to announce the successful expansion of the Reininghaus heat storage units in Graz-Reininghaus, Austria, planned and implemented in just 7️⃣ months by #TeamBilfinger 🙌 
Leveraging our experience from the 2017 order, our Bilfinger Region DACH team in Wels completed the second expansion stage for our customer Energie Graz.

With a diameter of 4m, a length of 30m and a storage volume of 290m³ or 13 MWh of thermal output per tank, the storage tanks were planned, manufactured, insulated and packaged in Wels. 🔧 Special thanks to our partner Felbermayr for carrying out the transportation and installation of the two storage tanks. 🚛

The exciting moment came when our team was able to lift the 35-tonne storage tanks into the 35-metre-high Energie Graz building using a 500-tonne mobile crane. 🏗️ With millimeter precision and perfect weather conditions, the lifting work was a success! 💪
