BioLoomics is all about evolution...even our lab space. 
We were once one bench at CU Boulder, then in a founder's garage, then in two separate FLEX spaces. Along the way, we have collected the do's and don't for a successful lab design. 

We recently began building a new HQ in the West Flatiron Park where we will bring together our operation in a brand new state of the art lab. 

Special thanks to Patrick Brady, CCIM, Sharon Wilhelm, and Craig Lemle at Savills for helping us navigate the real estate ecosystem in Boulder, CO, to our very own Nicole Beach for managing and heading up this lab build out, and to our architect Ethan Hampton.

BioLoomics welcomes Dr. Chris Bahl as a scientific advisor! 

Dr. Bahl is the President, CSO, and Co-founder of AI Proteins. Dr. Bahl pioneered the ability to computationally design miniproteins de novo as a postdoctoral fellow with Dr. David Baker at the University of Washington’s Institute for Protein Design in Seattle. Following his post-Doc, he joined the Institute for Protein Innovation in Boston as one of the founding faculty members, with co-appointments at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Bahl is an expert in the state-of-the-art computational tools for protein design, which BioLoomics is leveraging to climb the fitness landscape across multiple activities for antibody chimeras. We are super excited to work with you!

BioLoomics welcomes Dr. Jeanne Stachowiak as a scientific advisor! 

Dr. Stachowiak is a jointly appointed professor of Chemical Engineering and the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research into how proteins and lipids interact at the cell membrane has highlighted the power of biophysical activities like phase separation in endocytosis, receptor sorting, and membrane curvature sensing/generation. Dr. Stachowiak has unique insights into the protein design principles that underly membrane interaction that will aid our development of antibodies with programmable trafficking to the lysosome. We are super excited to work with you!
