Biosyngen to Present and Speak at 42nd JP Morgan Healthcare 2024, San Francisco

The A*STAR delegation led by Prof Tan Sze Wee, Assistant Chief Executive of A*STAR’s Biomedical Research Council, was given a first-hand update of Biosyngen’s development and progress. Comprising leaders from A*STAR’s Biomedical Research Council and Biosyngen, both parties explored topics to further collaborate in therapeutic development and tap on opportunities arising from the backdrop of wider Singapore-China partnership.

Hosted in the company’s China HQ in Guangzhou, the largest cell manufacturing GMP Facility in Southern China,  the delegation was given an overview of the critical role the facility plays in Phase I clinical trial which is currently in progress. With a dual-site strategy, in Singapore and China, Biosyngen has gained speed in clinical development with the hope of meeting unmet needs, bringing cure against solid tumors to cancer patients.

Teaming up within the Singapore ecosystem, Biosyngen entered into a joint lab agreement with A*STAR’s Singapore Immunology Network (SIgN) in 2022, with the goal to develop multi-specific antibodies against solid tumors. As the research collaboration is moving on track, we believe that there are other unmet needs that can be addressed by further leveraging on the capabilities of A*STAR and Biosyngen. Both parties are in discussion on expanding beyond the existing collaboration in the coming year.

Biosyngen is excited to share from the recently concluded SITC, San Diego; our encouraging proof-of-concept clinical trial data on a first-in-class genetically engineered T Cell Therapy targeting Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) was revealed. As the first of its kind, our innovative immunotherapy asset holds great promise in treating Nasopharyngeal Cancer and EBV-positive Lymphoma. Giving hope to patients and the potential to provide a more efficacious, safe and long-lasting treatment.

Proud to announce another IND granted by US FDA. The cell therapy product, BST02, is a TIL against Liver Cancer (all types). This is Biosyngen’s 6th IND secured in the last 10 months. 

BST02 is a breakthrough in the field of cell and gene therapy, it represents the world's first TIL therapy designed for the treatment of all types of liver cancer to progress into the clinical stage.

This latest addition continues to enrich Biosyngen’s pipeline. In which, the company’s first two assets are well underway in Phase I clinical trials.

Biosyngen has secured another IND from FDA, the company’s first TCR-T product targeting Lung Cancer, Gastric Cancer and other solid tumors.

BRL03 (TCR-T) is the fifth in a string of INDs Biosyngen has secured. This further reinforces the company’s commitment, confidence in its technology and execution of its strategy. Prior to this, US FDA and CN NMPA has granted approvals for CAR-T NPC and CAR-T Lymphoma respectively.
