BK Technologies announced that it has received a $3.3M purchase from the Florida Forest Service for BKR 9000 multi-band portable radios. The radios will be used by several different branches within the organization including wildland fire & land management for fighting active wildland fires and facilitating controlled burns. "The Florida Forest Service has been a long-term BK customer... we're pleased to supply a high quality, reliable communications technology to this organization, and are encouraged by this order and others like it that demonstrate the growing demand for the BKR 9000 among public safety agencies."
