Wir haben vor wenigen Wochen unseren 7. Geburtstag gefeiert. Die Zeit der Sandkasten-Spiele ist also zu Ende - und als Bundesblock-Community müssen wir unsere gemachten Erfahrungen bündeln und mehr konkrete Lösungen für die Menschen & Unternehmen in Deutschland schaffen. In der Finanz-Industrie sind die Tools unserer Mitglieder bereits vielfach im Einsatz, und durch MiCAR wird sich das EU-weit fortschreiben. Aber an der Schnittstelle zwischen Banken & der Industrie müssen wir Use Cases ermöglichen, die dem USP unseres Landes entsprechen: nämlich möglichst effizient zu automatisieren. (Und nachhaltige Register-Führung, breitere Partizipation, mehr Transparenz und Incentivierung für gesellschaftlichen Wandel auf breiter Basis ermöglichen). Denn sonst können wir die Agenda im politischen Berlin und in der EU nicht so beeinflussen, dass Innovation von hier an den entscheidenden Stellen auf den besten technischen Lösungen fußt. Und genau das ist unsere Aufgabe als Verband im kommenden Jahr bis zur Bundestagswahl. Deshalb wollen wir eure Aufmerksamkeit auf eine der relevantesten Initiativen lenken, die es derzeit an der Schnittstelle von DLT-basierten Finanzmarkt-Lösungen und anderen Wirtschaftssegmenten gibt: Das CBMT-Projekt (Link) Es wurde von führenden Playern aus Banken und Industrie vorangetrieben, aber auch aus Lösungsanbietern wie unseren Mitgliedern Blockchain HELIX und European Public Network e.V. . CBMT kann dabei helfen, die Industrie 4.0 insgesamt auf ein neues funktionales Niveau zu heben, und bietet erhebliche Möglichkeiten für die Prozessautomatisierung und die Schaffung innovativer Geschäftsmodelle. Dabei geht es um die Verknüpfung effizienter Zahlungsabwicklung oder Verrechnung durch verschiedene programmierbare Tokens und vorab festgelegte Regeln in Smart Contracts. Denn aktuell sind private und öffentliche Geldformen nicht on-chain verfügbar. Stablecoins sind dies zwar, erfüllen aber die Anforderungen der Industrien an Wertstabilität oder regulatorische Einfachheit nicht ausreichend. Deshalb gehören Interoperabilität, sichere Programmierbarkeit, robuste Governance und die Einhaltung gesetzlicher Vorschriften zu den wichtigsten Designprinzipien von CBMT. In der nächsten Phase wird sich das CMT-Projekt auf die Erweiterung des Teilnehmernetzwerks, auf die Etablierung Technischer Service Provider und die Beantragung der formellen Genehmigung durch die Aufsichtsbehörden zur Durchführung von Echtgeldtests konzentrieren. Wir unterstützen die Forderung der deutschen Industrie nach einer solchen sicheren Form von DLT-basiertem und programmierbarem Geld – und fordern, so die möglichst transparente Automatisierung von Geschäftsabläufen zu ermöglichen. Eine derart grundlegende & systemische Innovation wird wesentliche Voraussetzung dafür sein, dass vernetzte Industrien in der EU auch global wettbewerbsfähig bleiben, ohne sich der Dominanz globaler Plattform-Konzerne unterordnen zu müssen. You get an #SSI wallet, you get an #SSI wallet, there are wallets for everybody in #GaiaX . Each week I encounter people from the #GaiaX community which are not yet sure which wallet solution (and attached SSI infrastructure) is available and shall be used to empower their #dataeconomy ecosystem or data space. Many Gaia-X Association for Data and Cloud (AISBL) hubs already have all these projects at their disposal from Gaia-X Hub Germany , Gaia-X Hub Austria , Gaia-X Hub France , Gaia-X Hub the Netherlands and more. Let me ensure you, there are enough viable solutions for you out there and most of them are heading towards the European digital identity ecosystem and have not stoped maturing and growing their solutions, betting on the most promising standards out there. But they won't you just come to you with a ready for production solition for free, this never happens in any health relationship. You need to talk to them, build with them, form a relationship and treat them like any other mature business player and #opensource community out there: with respect and collaboration. To just name a few which are leading the pack in #GaiaX related ecosystems and the European identity sphere (and there are many more): - Eclipse XFSC supported by eco - Verband der Internetwirtschaft e.V. , T-Systems International , Vereign AG | Verifiable and Sovereign and many more. Used by many projects, i.e. Service Meister and soon the be expaneded and updated to a full EUDI solution. - GXFS-FR with walt.id used in Aster-X for example. - Sphereon.com and Paradym by Animo Solutions as used in the Future Mobility Marketplace - TALAO and Altme used in many ecosystems already - Spherity using latest tech and enable digital products passports across industries at scale - Blockchain HELIX being in production at scale for a long time already - and the #SSI community can add many many more here. The Open Wallet Foundation and Decentralized Identity Foundation and many more did a fantastic job bringing a lot of builders together and many are also building for interoperability profiles each and every day. But you need to bring the energy, budget and maybe developers to make it yours and I very much encourage you to reach out to these projects and collaborate.
