Bolt Depot started as a family-owned hardware store in 1949, specializing in a wide variety of nuts and bolts, including hard-to-find materials like brass and bronze. In 1998, the owner, Jordan Cazeault, launched BoltDepot.com to sell their extensive selection of fasteners online, which eventually led to the closure of the physical hardware store in 2005.
