Last night, Bread and Butter Ventures hosted a virtual event specifically for the student audience called  "Intro to Venture Capital for Students."

Our managing partners, Mary Grove and Brett Brohl, dove into the essentials of venture capital, discussing what it entails and how success is measured, and shared some about the inner workings of Bread & Butter. They also talked through the different pathways and resources for those aspiring to enter the venture capital field.

We were thrilled to have more than 40+ students join us from from across the country - from Syracuse to Minneapolis, from Orlando to Los Angeles, representing amazing schools like St. Thomas, UCLA, Georgetown, Tufts, and more.

After 9 years of investing in food tech, we're more convinced than ever of the massive opportunities in this $14 trillion industry. This year, we're shining a spotlight on an area we're particularly bullish about: Vertical SaaS within food.
