It was formed through a $7.5 million agreement between Lumen Technologies, Inc. and Apollo Global Management. Brightspeed offers internet and voice services to homes and businesses in 20 states in the Midwestern and Southeastern U.S.

Recently, #Brightspeed was honored to play a small role in helping make the holidays a bit brighter for children across rural Louisiana.
 
Our local Ville Platte team presented a donation to CASA of St. Landry-Evangeline, an organization dedicated to advocating for children facing abuse and neglect. This money will provide food, clothes and toys to children throughout the holidays.

Starting in 2024, Brightspeed will provide CASA free internet for the next two years to help support their mission.

In 2023, the #BrightspeedBusiness team went on the road to meet with our customers face-to-face, enjoying food and fellowship everywhere we went. 

Events were held in a total of nine different locations throughout our footprint, and nearly one thousand meals were served. 

Through our #welovelocal customer appreciation program, not only did we meet some fantastic people, but we were able to positively impact their communities by donating hundreds of meals to local non-profit organizations.
