This post brings out all the joy and pride I have. I want to introduce the two men behind our Moonlight Stroll tea, which won three awards at the World Tea Expo. This tea is our pride, our best seller, and it has set the standard for the rest our teas. Mr. Gurung (rightmost in the photo) is the tea artist who created our Moonlight Stroll tea. A quiet gentleman with a warm smile, he is a veteran in crafting the most exquisite small-batch Darjeeling tea. Mr. Allay (leftmost in the photo) is the estate manager of the largest tea estate in Darjeeling. He spent an entire day with us proudly showing his estate, graciously invited our entire crew to his home for a meal, and I now consider him a good friend. Meet Mr. Waseem, the artisan behind our handcrafted silver-plated accessories. He operates a small business from a modest town in India, continuing a family tradition of craftsmanship that spans generations. During a visit to his humble home, I enjoyed a meal prepared by his wife and learned that we are a very special customer to them. Though we have only placed small orders so far, we hope to surprise him with larger ones as our gifting sales grow.
