✨ String lights brighten up the holiday season but create a mess once inside recycling facilities. They are a common "tangler" that wrap around machinery, causing damage. 

Due to their electrical components, string lights are considered e-waste. Check for a local drop off site or e-waste event to dispose of them properly.
