CalSTRS CIO Scott Chan, CFA and CalPERS CEO Marcie Frost sit together on the stage at the The Investment Diversity Exchange (TIDE) Spark 2024 conference. California State Treasurer Fiona Ma, also on the CalSTRS and CalPERS board, introduced Chan and Frost. 

They talked about a range of topics, including teaming up more to influence the investments industry on DEI and accelerating the path to net zero.

The Investment Diversity Exchange connects industry leaders to promote diversity and inclusion in investments. TIDE hosted its annual event on July 10-11 with nearly 500 attendees. The event focused on adopting policies and building partnerships to heighten the roles of women and minorities in the investment industry.
