Last week in London, we hosted the H&M HOME Christmas shopping event, bringing together creativity, collaboration, and community. Held in the flagship Regent Street store, the evening featured an advent calendar designed by Emily Forgot with plenty of new festive H&M HOME wares inside for the public to win. October in Paris is quickly becoming an unmissable moment on the international art and design calendar – and that was certainly evident at the second edition of Design Miami .Paris. Running alongside Art Basel Paris last month, the fair returned to the city’s iconic L’hôtel de Maisons. Thirty exhibitors furnished the 18th century mansion with an array of rare and unique collectible design that also spilled out into the gardens through an extensive Design at Large program. From a full-size, demountable Jean Prouvé house, to fashion designer Rick Owens’ venture into liveable sculpture, the show was admired by a host of notable attendees - from Natalie Portman to Norman Foster. Camron was on-site to deliver an international media campaign that magnified this year’s programming and strong sales, while continuing to tell Design Miami’s ongoing story of expansion across the globe, ahead of the flagship Miami Beach fair this December, and the brand’s 20th anniversary next year. “Design Miami may have been the big winner in Paris: the standout fair that everyone seemed to make time for and post about”, said Puck ’s market reporter, Marion Maneker . The Business of Fashion 500 Gala has become a staple on the Paris Fashion Week party circuit in Paris, held at the Shangri-La where crowds gather outside to catch a glimpse of red carpet arrivals. We worked with BoF to ensure that the focus also remains on The BoF 500 itself; an important moment for the business within the year that represents their values of inclusiveness and championing emerging talent within the industry. While achieving media cut-through during a busy fashion week, stories also focussed on new entrants to the index, resulting in global coverage for BoF. As Singapore Design Week 26 September - 6 October ( DesignSingapore Council ) approaches, multi-award winning architect, Leonard Ng speaks to Financial Times on how he used his work helping Singapore become a garden city and how this translates into the design of his home space. “Nature is inherently beautiful,” he says. “Nature doesn’t require design, and the best we can do is learn from it. But even if we can only produce a poor facsimile of nature, how do we do that in an authentic and faithful manner?
