Capnamic's Markus Merz was part of the Innovation Brunch hosted by Stadtsparkasse Düsseldorf and ITONICS - The Innovation OS with 40 other participants. Markus had the privilege to hold a presentation about AI from a VC's perspective. A key takeaway was that while 90% of pitch decks currently mention AI, a deep understanding is often lacking. Most investments are focused on the development of LLMs, benefiting a few major players.

On top, Olaf explores the €23 million Series C funding round of Munich-based SaaS startup Smart Reporting GmbH that aims to give doctors more time with patients through improved documentation software. The round is led by TVM Capital Life Science, with support from Bayern Kapital and existing investors.

The financing was led by HTGF | High-Tech Gründerfonds and other investors including Calm/Storm, Femventix, and B4i Fund.
