Carbfix is proud to be part of the Columbia River Basalt Technical Assistance Program (CaRBTAP), a project selected by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Technical Assistance partnerships for Carbon Storage. As part of the industry board, we’ll be working alongside leading organizations like Carbon Solutions, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), Carbon Containment Lab, Washington Geological Survey, Idaho National Laboratory, Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries (DOGAMI), Washington State University, and others to advance carbon transport and storage and community engagement in the Pacific Northwest region.

This initiative will focus on key areas including community benefits, workforce training, storage resource assessment, and legal support, all with the goal of accelerating the responsible deployment of carbon management projects.
This collaboration not only aligns with our mission to combat climate change but also paves the way for potential Carbfix deployments in the region in the future.
