Unveiling Somersby's new global visual identity ✨🙏 The brand refresh is part of a wider strategy to accelerate long-term growth of our Beyond Beer portfolio. “The new brand identity is a big step for the brand to become more convivial and relevant," says Anna Katrine Drumm-Hakim , Global Brand Director for Somersby. "With creative partner Born Ugly, we have created a brand that allows Somersby to show up in a more iconic and vibrant way. We believe this evolution will help us become more distinctive in a rapidly growing Beyond Beer category,” she adds. The refresh includes a redesign of the Somersby tree and an update to the Somersby word marque to make it more iconic. The new design system will be featured on all Somersby products and packaging across the globe and has already commence rolling out in some markets, so keep an eye out for it in local stores and bars! Supporting Education in China 👏🏼🏫 For the past 21 years, the Chongqing Beer Yibin Scholarship Program has empowered 1,886 students from underprivileged backgrounds to pursue higher education. This September marks the launch of the 21st edition, where even more students will receive scholarships that offer more than just financial assistance—they symbolize hope and a commitment to giving back to society. Yibin, a city in southwestern China, is home to one of the breweries operated by Chongqing Brewery Co. Ltd., which hosts our Carlsberg China business. The program is co-sponsored by Carlsberg Yibin Brewery and the local government. Selected students also have the chance to visit the brewery and participate in our work-study program. Outstanding graduates will be considered for future positions within the company. We are proud to continue this journey, investing in the dreams of the next generation. Ten beverage giants join forces in a new industry-wide consortium to accelerate the use of renewable energy across our supply chains. Carlsberg Group is thrilled to be a part of the REfresh Alliance alongside giants such as Coca-Cola company, Heineken, Diageo and others. Working together, we will use our collective size and strengths to remove barriers to renewable energy adoption in the supply chain. When we named our ESG programme Together Towards ZERO and Beyond, we really meant the together-part! That passion, evident in everything that we do, is embodied in the Carlsberg Foundation’s Charter and in J.C. Jacobsen’s “Golden Words”, inscribed in marble above the entrance gate to Carlsberg’s headquarters in Valby, Copenhagen. They state that the operation of the Carlsberg brewery should never focus solely on business today, but also give long term thought to the future. And still today, the Carlsberg Family contributes to a better future. By supporting science, research and the arts; through pursuing ZERO carbon emissions; through pursuing more sustainable packaging and reducing plastic usage; through researching climate resilient crops, among many things. Cleaning up beaches from Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan 🌊 This year has been a significant one for coastal conservation in our markets! Both Carlsberg Kazakhstan and Carlsberg Azerbaijan brought together employees and volunteers for impactful beach clean-up events. In Kazakhstan, our teams have been organizing clean-ups since 2016 under the 'Moldir Su' initiative, which means ‘clean water’ in Kazakh. This year, around 200 volunteers and employees collected an impressive 𝟭𝟲 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 from coastal regions. Meanwhile, in Azerbaijan, our amazing volunteers and colleagues joined forces to clear 𝟳 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 from 23 hectares along the Caspian Sea. To keep spirits high, Carlsberg Azerbaijan provided participants with Xırdalan 0.0 — the first locally produced non-alcoholic beer. Check out the gallery below for snapshots of this inspiring effort! Bringing essential school equipment to 260 students in Cambodia 🎒 This fall, our colleagues at Cambrew Ltd , our business in Cambodia, supported students at Sabat Primary School in Takeo Province by providing study materials, including books, pencils, backpacks, water bottles, computers, fans, and more. This initiative was aimed at alleviating the financial burdens faced by parents and teachers while fostering a love of learning among students. Since the early 1960s, Cambrew has been dedicated to serving local communities in Cambodia and contributing to economic growth. As a group, we are committed to "Brewing For A Better Today and Tomorrow" through responsible business practices and ESG initiatives that positively impact the lives of local residents. Brewer Carl Jacobsen believed that you become a better person if you surround yourself with art. He was the son of our founder J.C. Jacobsen and was therefore born to brew – however, he had another burning passion. The arts. In 1902, he founded the New Carlsberg Foundation as an independent foundation under the Carlsberg Foundation. It should support the role of the arts in society so that all people could get access to the wonders of arts. To this day, the New Carlsberg Foundation ( Ny Carlsbergfondet ) supports the arts and research into the arts and is funded by dividends from shares in Carlsberg Group. Throughout his life, Carl Jacobsen was a dedicated art collector and generous patron throughout his life. In 1897 he inaugurated the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek , where he gave the public access to his unique art collection in a beautiful setting in the middle of Copenhagen. To this day, the museum is still open to the public 👏 #GiveBack
