Carrols Restaurant Group, headquartered in Syracuse, NY, is a subsidiary of Restaurant Brands International (RBI). Carrols operates more than 1,000 Burger King® locations across 23 states and 59 Popeyes® locations in six states. 

Carrols has a rich and varied history, from its first days in 1960 as a hamburger and milkshake joint in upstate New York. Carrols was operating 160+ restaurants in over 12 states by the mid-1970s, when they entered into a franchise relationship with Burger King. Carrols saw significant growth in the following five decades. In 2024, RBI purchased Carrols and welcomed them into the Burger King Company family.  

Carrols’ success over the last 60 years is attributed to our dedicated team members who focus on providing outstanding service and Guest experience.
