1989. In the underprivileged suburbs of Paris, a group of friends finds a way to express themselves through the hip-hop movement that has just arrived in France. After dancing and graffiti, Joey Starr and Kool Shen start writing rap lyrics suffused with the intensity that smolders in the suburbs. Their feverish rhythms and their provocative lyrics do not take long to galvanize the crowds and ... to clash with the authorities.
