#中華開發資本 志工活動延續地方創生主軸，邀請同仁一起前往位於雲林虎尾、品牌歷史超過一甲子的#御鼎興柴燒黑豆醬油 ，進入製醬廠，感受時間的滋味。御鼎興團隊更集結地方回憶與資源，打造一場「#飛雀餐桌行動 」的饗宴，也帶領資本同仁前往「#虎尾釀 」，品嘗在地食材釀造的台灣本土手作純釀酒。
 
御鼎興是開發資本#地方創生 支持團隊之一，開發資本除了提供團隊各項培力行動，也鼓勵同仁前往地方創生現場，親身體驗一場「釀」之旅，以實際行動為地方經濟與產業注入活水。
 
The volunteer activities of #CDIB Capital continue to focus on the main theme of “#RegionalRevitalization”. We invite our colleagues to visit Yu-Ding-Shing (YDS), a black bean wood-fired soy sauce manufacturer in Yunlin, which boasts a history of over six decades. Upon entering the sauce-making area, our colleagues were able to experience the taste of time. Additionally, the YDS team gathered local memories and resources to create a feast known as the “Future Dining Table”. They also led colleagues to “FavorLand” to taste Taiwanese local wine brewed with local ingredients.

YDS is one of the teams that CDIB supports in our regional revitalization efforts. In addition to providing various empowerment initiatives to these teams, we encourage our colleagues to personally embark on a “brewing” journey. Through these direct actions, we can inject vitality into the local economy and industry.

In 2023, #CDIB Capital Group's volunteer activities were a harmonious blend of #environmental protection, #sustainability, and #regional revitalization. Our endeavors took us to the mountains, the sea, and the countryside, where we keenly observed Taiwan's social innovation capacity.
This year, we continue our focus on regional revitalization, deeply rooted in the local environment. We encourage our colleagues to immerse themselves in meaningful environmental experiences. Collaborating with 10 local regional revitalization teams, supported by CDIB, the Taiwan Regional Revitalization Foundation, and Friendly Seed, we aim to create a positive cycle that intertwines people, economy, and environment.

中華開發資本旗下兩檔生醫基金於日前舉辦股東會與年會，並邀請到與中華開發淵源深厚的投資戶 Onward Therapeutics 董事長暨執行長葉常菁博士（智擎生技創辦人與前執行長） ，與 6 月底剛成功將主力產品授權給 Nasdaq 掛牌公司的國邑藥品總經理甘霈博士，分享他們的產品研發歷程，也增加產業與投資人的交流機會。

Two CDIB healthcare funds recently held shareholder meetings and annual meetings to deepen relations with investors. To increase dialogue between the industry and investors, senior executives of two portfolio companies were invited to deliver speeches and share their product development processes. The distinguished guests included Grace Yeh, CEO and Chairperson of Onward Therapeutics SA, as well as the founder and former CEO of PharmaEngine, and Pei Kan, President of Pharmosa Biopharm, who successfully authorized their main pipeline to a Nasdaq-listed company at the end of June.

The CDIB Tokyo Innovation Hub serves as a bridge to connect industry and government resources with the startup communities in Taiwan and Japan. Earlier this year, Betty Hu, Deputy Director-General of the Administration for Digital Industries in Taiwan, visited the CDIB Tokyo Innovation Hub to discuss startup development strategies. The CDIB Tokyo Innovation Hub also held the "Japan and Taiwan Innovation Meeting" with Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund and co-organized a three-day event called "Taiwan Startup Delegation Meetups" with "Startup Island Taiwan", associated with the National Development Council (NDC) in Taiwan and Business Next, a media group with a focus on the startup community.
The CDIB Tokyo Innovation Hub aims to build a Taiwan-Japan investment ecosystem by developing cross-border cooperation, deepening partnerships, and assisting Taiwan's startups with entering the international market.

Intalight Inc., a portfolio company of the #CDIB Yida Healthcare Private Equity Fund, has recently been awarded as the "Top Retinal Imaging Solutions Provider 2023" by Medical Tech Outlook, the world's leading medical magazine. Additionally, it has launched its product in the world's top ophthalmology center, Bascom Palmer (ranked #1 in the USA for 20 consecutive years). CDIB Yida Healthcare Private Equity Fund expressed optimism about Intalight's technical capabilities and the prospects of global business, investing in #Intalight in March 2023. 

CDIB established the CDIB Yida Healthcare Private Equity Fund at the end of 2019, is committed to exploring medical and health investment opportunities in Greater China. With a network of resources and over 60 years of investment experience, CDIB has become a strategic partner for biomedical entrepreneurs. Simultaneously, the "Biomedical Innovation Cross-Domain Cooperation Platform," jointly promoted by CDIB and the Industrial Technology Research Institute, extends the R&D capabilities of the biomedical industry to the capital and industrial sectors. This initiative contributes to the gradual completion of the Taiwan and cross-strait biomedical investment ecosystem and complementary mechanisms built by CDIB.
