We have surpassed the ₱100-million mark for our inflight fundraising program, Change for Good, highlighting Cebu Pacific's commitment to supporting vulnerable children nationwide. As of October 23, the Change for Good campaign has successfully collected ₱100,455,523.65. Launched in partnership with UNICEF Philippines in 2016, the initiative encourages passengers to donate spare change in any currency during flights. The collected funds are converted into essential services focusing on health, nutrition, education, and emergency relief for children across the country. “Our partnership with UNICEF through Change for Good allows us to extend our mission beyond flying passengers—we're contributing to meaningful change in the lives of children. Cebu Pacific took three consecutive deliveries of aircraft in October to support the growing demand for air travel and ongoing network expansion efforts. The new aircraft deliveries included two (2) A321neos, which arrived on October 23 and 30, and an A320ceo, which arrived on October 28. This raises the total number of aircraft delivered to CEB this year to 15 so far. “We’re excited to expand our fleet with these additional aircraft ahead of the peak travel season in December. These deliveries are a key part of our continuous efforts to expand routes and enhance our service, allowing us to better serve the increasing number of travelers,” said Xander Lao , CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer. Iloilo is now connected with direct flights abroad. Cebu Pacific Air resumed connectivity to Iloilo (ILO) International Airport with the resumption of direct flights to Hong Kong (HKG) last night. Flight 5J-242 from ILO to HKG departed Iloilo on the hour at 2300H and returned earlier this morning as 5J-243 from HKG around 0500H. Both sectors were operated by an Airbus A320 with registration, RP-C4104. This is a promise to fellow Ilonggos for a direct connectivity without the need to transit in other airports. Ari na gid! Next months, a new direct flight to Singapore will resume as well as additional direct connectivities to great cities such as Daraga (Legazpi), Bohol (Panglao), and Dumaguete, on top of new routes launched over the weekend and the start of the week to Tacloban and Zamboanga.
