Had a busy and productive visit to London last week! I attended the London Health-Tech event organized by DBT and EIT Digital Health. I joined a delegation that included companies from the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Slovakia. Over the two days, we have learned from the insightful presentations and had invaluable networking opportunities with fellow participants. Seeing how the UK Government attracts the best talents and companies to the country is truly impressive. They have a clear plan and have made substantial investments to make the startup ecosystem competitive. This trade visit was part of this activity to attract the most innovative health-tech companies to the region. The focus is on technologies that can enhance the well-being of citizens. I was particularly delighted to see such promising ventures from Central and Eastern Europe. One highlight was our visit to the London Institute of Healthcare Engineering campus, situated along the picturesque banks of the Thames with a stunning view of the Houses of Parliament. It's not a bad place to work, I must say! Special thanks to Krisztina Görög and her team for organising this great event. In addition, thanks to a lucky date coincidence, I had the pleasure of attending the HBBA networking event, where I caught up with old friends and colleagues. Finally, I visited the White Label and Logistics Expo at Excel. As someone who works closely with clients venturing into foreign markets, this event has been on my radar for a while. For some clients who sell products, a white-label partner providing integrated services can be an excellent way to enter the foreign market. Overall, it was an enriching week filled with learning, networking, and exciting prospects.
