Happy birthday to Mint, our reward and recognition platform powered by Centrical . I can't believe it's been a year since we launched it here at the Ocado Retail Ltd Customer Hub in Sunderland. 

Since launch we've seen class leading engagement from colleagues who are earning mint rewards for canny performance.

Yesterday, Ian Chappell and Piers Brown had an exciting experience to celebrate Ocado Retail Ltd's 1-year anniversary of Mint (Centrical). 

They had a 5am start with Muhammad and Jimmy driving through East London delivering 25+ customer orders.  

The goal? To understand and experience first hand how Ocado's was crowned the leader of Institute of Customer Service's #CustomerSatisfactionIndex.

But the real highlight was experiencing firsthand what makes Ocado shine. Through the eyes of Jimmy and Muhammad, Ian and Piers were able to witness what 'mint' customer service truly means. 

To sum it up with the words of one of their most loyal customers (18 years!) who had tried all the competition, great service all starts with a smile. And though things are not always perfect, simplicity, ownership and authenticity at each touch point is key.

In a world where the service we receive as consumers is a huge differentiator, their experience with Jimmy and Muhammad at Ocado confirms that it is not just a byword for a business function.
