In December, he will embark on a world-first expedition in Antarctica: an arduous sea-to-summit journey encompassing 600km of cross-country skiing, and a climb of almost 5,000m to the top of the continent's highest peak. In big news for Aussie travellers, LATAM Airlines has brought back their direct flights between Sydney to Santiago. Guests could be touching down in Santiago in less than 13 hours, the perfect gateway for discovering the delights of South America. Flying four times per week, the service will operate on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
