Chromologics is a Danish biotech start-up responding to the strong market pull for novel natural food colorants. We develop fungal fermentation solutions for the production of natural pigments. Our proprietary production process allows not only for a more sustainable production than existing solutions, but is also cost-competitive. Our pigments are produced by a non-GMO fungus, which makes them compliant with the dietary requirements of broad consumer bases such as kosher, halal, and vegan diets.

Meet the Beast 🦾 - our new bioreactor 😍

We are proud to announce the latest addition to our arsenal of innovation – state-of-the-art bioreactors: "The Beast". After purchasing an old 600 L tank on a Scrapyard, we handed it over to Bioreactors.net. They managed to recondition the old dog into a powerful beast not only by getting it up and running, but also by modifying it exactly to our needs. Big thanks to the Engineers from Bioreactors.net.

Adding the Beast to our fermentation line up will allow our Head of Scale-up and Production Fredrik Wahlbom and Process Operator Benjamin Spaniel to upscale our internal production and thereby accelerating product testing and customer support.
 
🌱 With the Beast in the team, we're geared up for precision in every aspect of our operations, achieving new heights in biotechnology!
