We are thrilled to have supported Strong by Form on their innovation trip to Shanghai, China, coordinated and accompanied by CMPC Asia!

Daniel Del Río Ortiz, CTO and co-founder of the startup, emphasized the importance of this innovation journey for the growth and development of Strong By Form, commenting that "as a portfolio company of CMPC Ventures, at Strong by Form we are surprised and excited by the opportunities offered by the Chinese ecosystem. The technological development, innovation and dynamism of the local market make Shanghai, and China in general, a very relevant scenario for technology startups".

Yinlu (Fernando) Deng, Procurement & Innovation Manager Asia at CMPC Asia, said: “The trip in China has been rewarding and eye-opening, especially with the realization that what China can offer is beyond just high price performance. The dynamic landscape of business and innovation sets the stage for value-creating potential at a wider scope of cooperation that helps connect Strong by Form, CMPC Asia, and China's ecosystem with and for our sustainable forestry products.”

During their stay, the team visited the Changyang Incubator, an innovation hub that houses numerous high-profile technology startups such as TikTok and Meituan; the Brazil-China Innovation Building, which symbolizes the commitment of both countries to technological and sustainable development; and the leading robotic construction company FAB Union. In addition, the trip to the Asian country allowed the startup to expand its network of contacts, exploring new opportunities for collaboration.

On June 5th – 6th, we participated at Imagine Chile´s #InspireCVC event in Santiago together with various actors from the Venture Capital world who gathered to share experiences, listen to interesting cases of corporate collaboration with startups and network to further strengthen collaborations among the innovation ecosystem in Chile and the region.
