Copley Point Capital's portfolio company Rendesco has announced another project it is developing as part of its £150m pipeline with new build developers across the UK.  The low carbon heat network will be owned by Last Mile Heat, a joint venture formed between Last Mile and Rendesco in 2021, which provides homes with low carbon heating solutions as an alternative to gas through ground source heat pumps.

Yesterday our portfolio company, Rendesco, announced it is developing a pipeline of over £150m to accelerate the rollout of low-carbon heating in new build developments across the country. This is the largest investment into the UK heat pump market to date. Rendesco’s solutions are highly scalable, and the joint venture it formed in 2021 with Last Mile has helped to put them at the forefront of providing clean heat to the next generation of Britain's homes.

This investment is critical to help the industry keep pace with the UK Government’s target of 600,000 heat pump installations per year by 2028, and we’re delighted to see Rendesco leading the charge.
