Cosmic Aerospace is building all-electric passenger aircraft with longer flight ranges.

It’s #ClimateWeekNYC and people have traveled from across the globe to participate in the important discussions happening there. That’s a lot of flights, but imagine a world where they didn’t have to add up to more tonnes of CO2 being poured into the atmosphere. We’re here to tell you that the world is one step closer to that reality.

Introducing EP-1, the full-scale prototype of our all-electric Hyperdrive propulsion system. EP-1 is a lightweight electric engine with the same performance as a similar sized gas turbine, except EP-1 is much more energy efficient so it travels further on far less energy.

Engine development traditionally takes up to 10 years and millions (if not billions!) of dollars, but our team went from design to prototype testing in just six-months, and we’re not done yet. We’re building Skylark, a 25-seat all electric airliner that will change the world of transportation.
