We’ve recently donated our organic coffee to City Harvest London , helping provide 171 meals to individuals and families. City Harvest London works tirelessly to deliver surplus food to shelters, food banks, and community centres. By donating our surplus organic coffee, we’re not just supporting those in need, but also making a positive impact on the environment - this donation has helped prevent 240 kilograms of greenhouse gas emissions! Did you know that Colombia's famous coffee industry has been facing an unexpected challenge? As climate change is making coffee farming challenging, some farmers are shifting to something well… a little more “stimulating”: coca – the plant used to make cocaine. Rising temperatures and unpredictable weather are taking a toll on coffee production, making coca an easier and more reliable option for some. This isn’t just shaking up Colombia’s coffee production; it’s shining a spotlight on a bigger issue: how climate change is messing with agriculture and flipping local economies upside down. This makes supporting sustainable coffee more important than ever. By choosing ethically sourced coffee, we’re helping farmers stick to growing coffee and preserving Colombia’s rich coffee tradition. Plus, it ensures farmers get paid fairly, making coffee farming a more viable and attractive option over alternative crops like coca.

We're excited to announce that our Organic Colombian Coffee has just won a 2-star Guild of Fine Food 's Great Taste award! 🌟🌟 Proud to see that our smooth, rich Colombian blend impressed the expert judges at one of the UK’s most respected food and drink awards. A few highlights from their comments: they praised it as a “bright and lively coffee with complexity and lots of fruit,” with a “full-on fruitiness and comfortably balanced acidity,” and admired its “pleasing complexity,” “light texture,” and “impeccable roundness.” One judge even described it as “clever crafting” with a “long, enjoyable finish.” You can find our award-winning coffee directly online, but also at Waitrose & Partners and Ocado Retail .

As a #BCorp , we are committed to contributing to a better future for our coffee-growing communities and cooperatives. These communities often have difficulties accessing clean and safe water. We are proud to introduce #ProjectTibeb , an initiative in collaboration with Project Waterfall & @Splash. We have committed to raising £30,000 to help bring safe, clean water, sanitation, and hygiene to the Tibeb Ediget Primary School in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Here’s what we’re hoping to achieve by bringing clean water to the school: - Health & Hygiene: Combating water-related diseases and empowering young women with education around hygiene and menstrual health. -Community Strength: From healthier crops to increased school attendance, clean water fosters thriving communities. -Empowerment: Clean water lifts the burden on women and children, enabling education and economic opportunities. Key dates: • September 5th: Tom Greensmith and Joseph McCarthy from our team are taking on the challenge of a 125km run along The Thames from Reading to central London. • November 13th: We’re hosting a music and quiz fundraiser for over 100 guests to benefit Tibeb School. Welcome on board to our latest partner - the wonderful CRU Kafe Cru have joined our community and will be funding an entire school in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
