CUBIQ FOODS is excited about joining Vegetales, part of FIAB (a Spanish Federation for Food and Beverages). This is a time of great change - a few weeks ago Vegetales unveiled an inaugural report on the state of the plant-based industry in Spain. In it, they emphasize the urgent need for tailored regulations to support the continued growth of plant-based consumption. Drawing insights from experts across the industry's value chain, the report covers raw materials, research and development, nutritional components and distribution. The intro refers to the Spanish context within the European framework and reviews existing regulations. The report has three key sections: 1. Product-focus - analyzes the sourcing of raw materials, their transformation through research and development, and nutritional components 2. Industry - delves into distribution, innovation, and internationalization 3. Consumer profiles - motivations for choosing plant-based products Vegetales aims to collaborate with governmental bodies, particularly the Ministries of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food, and Consumption to address the challenges ahead.
