We are delighted to announce the launch of Cubitts Spectacle Makers, a unique charity auction in partnership with Create Charity Nine extraordinary spectacle frames, each meticulously designed by a renowned creative and handcrafted at the Cubitts’ King’s Cross workshop. Each frame explores innovative concepts, including secondary functions, anthropomorphic elements, personal allusions, unconventional materials, and experimental techniques, offering a fresh and imaginative take on the humble pair of spectacles. Thank you to David Shrigley, Erica Toogood , Faye Toogood , Yinka Ilori , Laxmi Hussain , Shona Heath, Wilfrid Wood, Jaimus Tailor and Daniel Weil for their generous contribution to the project.
