The first Cyber ILS deal based on the CyberAcuView Industry Loss index was just facilitated for next year by Swiss Re . 50m attaching at a total loss of the US Cyber Insurance Industry of $9 B. Given the current US cyber premium of $8 to $10 B, it appears that the bond would start to trigger at around a 90%+ overall US Cyber Insurance Loss Ratio. Modeling agent CyberCube has pegged this at 2.3% (attachment probability), while the total expected loss of the bond is 1.7%. With a pricing guidance of 10 to 11% the currently offered multiple is around 6. https://lnkd.in/e5Uiv7qN
