In Cyrus' presentation at AACR for the third consecutive year, this time included additional preclinical results for 'GSPT1 (G1 to S phase transition 1) molecular glue degrader' and 'SOS1 (Son of sevenless homolog 1) inhibitor,' as well as new research results on 'CDK7 (Cyclin dependent kinase 7) inhibitor'.

Yuhan Corporation Acquires Technology License for Anticancer Drug Candidate Targeting SOS1 Inhibition Mechanism

On March 7th, Yuhan Corporation announced that it has signed a technology license agreement with Cyrus Therapeutics and Kanaph Therapeutics for an anticancer drug candidate that utilizes the SOS1 inhibition mechanism. The total contract value is 20.8 billion won (excluding royalties based on net sales), and includes an upfront payment of 600 million won and milestone payments based on future development, approval, and sales.

사이러스테라퓨틱스(이하 사이러스)는 항암제로 개발 중인 SOS1 저해제와 GSPT1 분해제가 국가신약개발사업단(단장 묵현상)이 주관하는 '2023년 제3차 국가신약개발사업 신약 R&D 생태계 구축 사업' 지원 과제로 선정됐다고 8일 밝혔다. 이번 지원 과제 선정으로 사이러스는 향후 2년간 국가신약개발사업단의 지원을 받아 2025년 하반기까지 2개 과제의 1상 임상시험계획(IND) 승인을 목표로 비임상 연구를 진행할 예정이다...
