New exiting DANISH ENDURANCE sponsorship! Rasmus Kragh is a Danish endurance athlete and specialist with a profound connection to nature. In 2019, Rasmus climbed Mount Everest without the use of artificial oxygen as the first Dane. This November Rasmus embarks on a new extreme adventurous challenge that pushes the limits of human endurance: a solo expedition to the South Pole. Rasmus will be walking from the Antarctic Coast at the Hercules Inlet to the geographical South Pole, completely unsupported. A distance a Dane has never done before. Nicolaj Due, founder of DANISH ENDURANCE, says: "Rasmus Kragh’s dedication to exploring human potential is a powerful source of inspiration and aligns perfectly with our brand's essence: 'It’s a state of mind.' Rasmus truly embodies this mindset. We are proud to support Rasmus and the resilience he brings to this mission." "I want to show that there is a path where you can be yourself, stand strong, and make a difference—no matter who you are," says Rasmus Kragh. The expedition, expected to take between 40 and 45 days, will be both a physical and mental challenge. Rasmus will pull a sled weighing up to 110 kg through extreme weather and temperatures as low as -50°C. On Antarctica Rasmus will be fully equipped with DANISH ENDURANCE Merino wool base layers, Merino wool socks and Merino wool accessories. Rasmus's journey is being closely followed through a live center on the website www.alenetilsydpolen.dk , where every kilometer is tracked via GPS, along with audio, images, and reflections mapped out along the route.

On May 28th, we embarked on a new exiting chapter, dedicated to fostering biodiversity and reducing carbon emissions. Our great DANISH ENDURANCE® team, featuring members from over of 25 different nationalities gathered for a day of planting trees to complete the first step of the DANISH ENDURANCE® Forest Project. DANISH ENDURANCE® was founded in Denmark in 2013 at the family farm “Gramrodegaard” by the two brothers, Nicolaj Due and Ole Christoffer Due. Covering 12 hectares, the new Gramrode Forest consists of more than 37,000 carefully selected trees. The forest will be complemented by the establishment of meadows and restoration of water streams. This initiative aims to safeguard biodiversity and ecosystems for the benefit of future generations. Annually, an average of 110 tonnes CO2 will be captured over the next 100 years.
