Unlike clean beauty, which is riddled with cleanwashing claims, there can be no “biotech-washing” with biotech beauty. Biotechnology is underpinned by science, rigorous clinical testing, and manufacturing standards that have pharma-like precision and data credibility. There is zero margin for marketing interpretation or spin.

Moreover, the regulatory landscape will always favor biotech over cultivation or petroleum-based methods because safety, purity, consistency, and quality are hardwired in the way we manufacture ingredients.

We are entering a new era in beauty that has no place for cleanwashing.
