A key focus at Decmil is supporting large-scale renewable energy projects. We are pleased to announce that Decmil was awarded a contract by Queensland Hydro in September for the design and construction of Temporary Accommodation Camps for the Borumba Pumped Hydro Energy Storage Project. Decmil’s scope of works includes design, construction, operation and management of the remote camps and associated facilities. We’ve been seeing pink in Werribee as we build our new abutments for the Ison Road Overpass. The abutments will support the future road with the help of these eye-catching pink columns called formatubes which assist the team in pouring concrete. With concrete pouring now complete, the formatubes have been covered with steel sleeves and we’ll continue to work on the rest of the abutments. 🎉 Congrats to Ajay Jaiswal who has successfully completed our Graduate Program. Ajay is a Site Engineer, based in Perth, Western Australia. Joining Decmil’s Graduate Program in January 2023 marked a significant milestone in Ajay’s career. He began as a Graduate Engineer on the Albany Ring Road Project, and spent 15 months working with the project team, constructing the largest infrastructure project delivered in the Great Southern region. Macmahon Holdings' proposed acquisition of Decmil passed two important milestones in the past week.
