It has collaboration agreement with Takeda Pharmaceutical Company, Genentech, Inc., Sanofi, F-star Gamma Limited, F-star Biotechnologische Forschungs-Und Entwicklungsges M.B.H, F-star Biotechnology Limited, SIRION Biotech GmbH, Genzyme Corporation, Harvard University, the Michael J. Fox Foundation, and Centogene; and a research and option agreement with Secarna Pharmaceuticals GmbH & Co. KG. to develop antisense therapies in the field of neurodegenerative diseases. The company was formerly known as SPR Pharma Inc. and changed its name to Denali Therapeutics Inc. in March 2015. Denali Therapeutics Inc. was incorporated in 2013 and is headquartered in South San Francisco, California.

The #bloodbrainbarrier protects the brain from toxins, but also prevents medicines from entering the brain. We’ve invented a Transport Vehicle (TV) designed to enable protein-based medicines to be carried across that barrier and delivered throughout the brain via existing biological pathways. This novel brain delivery technology has the potential to address a variety of diseases that cause damage inside the brain, potentially making further medical advancements possible.

Over the weekend, Denali team members participated in Project Alive's inaugural Hunter syndrome Family Fair, enjoying a day filled with education, connection and Halloween-themed activities with more than 30 MPS II families from across the country! We extend our gratitude to Project Alive for inviting Denali to be a part of this event and value the opportunity to connect with the community and partake in the festive trick-or-treating fun. 

Our team was delighted to participate in the 37th Annual Family and Scientific Conference organized by the National MPS Society in Bethesda, MD. It was another impactful gathering, uniting a diverse community dedicated to having a positive impact in the lives of individuals with MPS and their families.
