🌟 Celebrating the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry: The Revolution of Computational Biology 🌟 Congratulations to Demis Hassabis and John Jumper from DeepMind, and David Baker from the University of Washington, for winning the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry! Their groundbreaking work in protein structure prediction and computational protein design is a testament to the transformative potential of advanced technologies in science and medicine. 🔬 DevsHealth: At the Forefront of Innovation 🔬 At DevsHealth, we utilize techniques similar to those acknowledged by the Nobel Prize in our DevsHealth OS platform to accelerate the discovery of new treatments for infectious diseases. Our technology allows us to design and test in silico over 10 million compounds in just a few days, reducing drug discovery time from 2-3 years to just 6 months. This approach is not only faster but also more cost-effective, enabling us to test only 10-20 compounds instead of hundreds. 🚀 Current Projects and Promising Future 🚀 We are currently working on innovative projects such as a broad-spectrum treatment for Flavivirus infections and an antimicrobial against multi-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. We celebrate and welcome the approval of the Political Declaration on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) by United Nations member states during the meeting which took place yesterday, September 26th. Member states declaration can be summarised in a short paragraph: "The research and development pipeline for vaccines, diagnostics, therapeutics, especially antimicrobials and alternatives to the use of antimicrobials, to prevent and address antimicrobial resistance, especially antibiotics, are insufficient". It sounds very good and the list of commitments is amazing.
