Medical technology investment expert Renee Ryan joins DigitalDx Ventures as an Expert + Entrepreneur in Residence. Ryan is recognized as an industry insider, a leading investor, deal-maker, and a passionate innovator. She has over 25 years of building category-creating healthcare companies. Recently, Ryan served as CEO and Board member of Cala Health—a pioneer in wearable neuromodulation therapy, having launched two generations of products and consistently doubled revenue each year of her leadership. Prior to her work at Cala Health, she led the medical technology investments for Johnson & Johnson Innovation (JJDC) on the West Coast and Asia Pacific for eight years. While at J&J, she made over 15 new investments, including the Series A for Cala Health. Other investments include Auris Health, Inc., Verb Surgical Inc., PowerVision EAP Inc., and Tusker Medical, all of which led to significant acquisitions. Previously, Ryan was a healthcare investment banker at Goldman Sachs and Jefferies. She sits on the Boards of RefleXion Medical and NeuroPace (NPCE).

Global Women's Health advocate and expert Barbara Levy, MD, FACOG, FACS   NCMP, joins DigitalDx Ventures as an Expert and Entrepreneur in Residence.

Dr. Levy is the Chief Medical Officer for Visana Health, Inc., the Chief Clinical Officer at Dorsata, and the Chief Medical Officer at Uroshape LLC. She was in private practice in the Pacific Northwest for over 30 years and served as a Medical Director for Women's and Children's Services for the Franciscan Health System. Dr. Levy was elected the first female president of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) in 1994-1995. During her tenure on the AAGL board, Dr. Levy became involved in coding and reimbursement issues. She represented the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) at the American Medical Association (AMA) RBRVS Update Committee and became chair of that committee from 2009-2015. Dr. Levy is serving as Vice-Chair of the AMA CPT Editorial Panel.

In 2012, Dr. Levy joined the ACOG as the first full-time woman physician leader. She built a quality, safety, and informatics team that supports women's healthcare improvement. She also managed ACOG's Committee on Global Women's Health, the American Indian, Alaska Native Committee, the Committee on Healthcare for Underserved Women, and ACOG's Committee on Health Economics and Coding.

Her research interests span from outcomes research in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery to optimizing care for women with chronic pelvic pain. Her clinical work focused on evidence-based, equitable, comprehensive care for women throughout their lives.
