Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Today marks 158 years since United States soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas, two years after the Emancipation Proclamation, to announce that enslaved people were free. In our home city of Milwaukee, we’re proud to host the country’s oldest-known and longest-running Juneteenth celebration, now in its 52nd year. 
 
Through continued education and awareness, we ensure that this celebration of freedom and our commitment to action for our Black friends, family, and colleagues extends all year, creating a more equitable and just society for all.

DOC is proud to announce two new additions to our family: Becky Groth, Senior Property Manager based at our Milwaukee headquarters and Jonathan McPhail, Property Manager serving Jackson, Mississippi. Both bring a wealth of experience in commercial real estate to benefit our health care partners.
 
Additionally, we’re thrilled to welcome Marcus Stillone in a new Leasing Analyst role. Marcus joined our team last summer as an intern and quickly progressed into a part-time Asset Management Assistant role. We are thrilled he’s continuing his career development at DOC in this full-time position.
