After 3 months in market, we decided to get a facelift. 🤕 Our first market test taught us a lot. People loved the product but the packaging didn’t quite communicate what it was and it felt really child like. We needed to clearly communicate the true benefits of Happypop! We decided to take a leap and go through a packaging refresh, and we recruited the best in biz, Fred Hart , to help with this task. We made the following updates: 🔆 Changed Tagline to Mood-Boosting Energy from (Fun)ctional Energy 🔊 Added callouts for No added sugar, Mucuna Pruriens (L-Dopa) and caffeine. 🪞 Added transparency of the amounts of each functional ingredient on the front panel. 😃 Removed additional happy faces 😊 Made brand mark more central for easy brand recognition 🍋 Changed our Lemon Zing to Ginger spice based on customer feedback of the flavor profile and more broad acceptance of Ginger vs Lemon Since then, sales at Erewhon has doubled 📈 and the customer response to the new packaging has been more than great!
