Last Wednesday at our Singapore office, Angela Hu had the pleasure of moderating "Her Voices: Diverse Paths in Product Leadership and Innovation", an event co-organized with Product Women in honor of International Women's Day!


We thank our incredible panellists who shared their powerful stories of navigating the realms of product management and entrepreneurship. Liyana Fauzi opened up about her role as a minority leader in product management at GovTech Singapore while Huang Yixuan (Eve) discussed her journey from Product Manager to Head of Product Design at Hypotenuse AI. On the entrepreneurial side, Nivedita Venkateish took us through her experience founding AIRE, a startup pioneering in adult incontinence products. The sister duo, Mili Kale & Maya Kale,  delved into their story of building Moom Health, a health supplement brand dedicated to Southeast Asian women's wellness. 


The Human Library sessions truly stood out, allowing the attendees to dive further into the personal narratives of the speakers, akin to reading an insightful book.

Coolmate is disrupting the fashion industry by embracing eco-friendly approaches across raw material sourcing, production, and packaging.

The idea for Coolmate came from Nhu’s surprise at the price gap for identical T-shirts between Vietnam and Singapore. He wondered why Vietnam couldn’t - with its manufacturing capability, craft top-quality, affordable apparel. On closer inspection, he realized that Vietnam’s higher prices were due to hidden costs, like retailer markups, while local textile factories faced quality hurdles. Coolmate was born to transcend these limitations so consumers can enjoy superior, cost-effective products.

Ugaoo is focused on improving the lives of green-starved urban millennials who aspire to reconnect with nature and start a journey of growing something at home. 

When Siddhant returned to India after finishing his degree in Landscape Architecture at Cal Tech, he noticed the disconnect between people and nature and decided to start Ugaoo to build a bridge between the two.

Ugaoo believes that a plant is much more than a commodity for aesthetic value. Their Made in India ecosystem of suppliers, growers, and plant care providers enables them to grow high-quality, well-nourished plants with a longer life span.
