The high-quality, high-style packs of the Eastpak® brand were first created nearly 40 years ago by Eastern Canvas Products, Inc., a manufacturer of duffel bags, backpacks and safety equipment for the U.S. Army. Today, the Eastpak® brand infuses style and innovation into its street-smart backpacks, convenient shoulder bags and ingenious travel inventions, such as the creation of wheeled luggage, making it easy to move across town or across the world.

Our concept of Resist Waste comes to life thanks to artist Ariadna Chez during our event in Madrid last February.

Ariadna reused plastics, wood, and metals from clean points around the city of Madrid to create structures and sculptures where our collection was displayed. Materials can have more than one life, and more than one use.

Our Re-Built To Resist collection returns pre-loved yet unrepairable bags back into circulation, combining the fabric from two pre-used packs to create a new and unique pack. The Resist Waste collection uses surplus materials to create brand-new designs and helps to avoid wasting excess materials.

Following a selection process, a team of students enrolled in the Master’s course in International Fashion Management, had the opportunity to gain an exclusive look into the heart of the Product & Design department and acquire unique competences.
 
We are proud  to support future generations and continue to establish a positive footprint in Antwerp, the “Northern Europe Fashion Capital".
