A site in Santa Rosa, where the focus was promoting bioremediation for the destruction of chlorinated solvents primarily TCE and vinyl chloride in groundwater. The Pilot test consisted of injecting a mixture of LactOil soy microemulsion, Sodium Bicarbonate, Accelerite Bioremediation nutrient, and KB-1 anaerobic microbial (mixed cultures). The pilot test consisted of injecting the mixture blend into three injection wells to 40-ft, with a target radius of influence of 40-ft. The anaerobic water mixture was prepared in a 300-gallon mixing tank. This consisted of mixing tap water with the LactOil and Accelerite bioremediation nutrient followed by the addition of sodium bicarbonate. The KB-1 culture was injected into each injection well into the anaerobic mixture to start the dichlorination process of TCE and vinyl chloride.
