Scientists from the IPCC offer the top five solutions to keep climate change in check – two involving #renewables, and three involving natural #ecosystems.

Combined, they can help avoid or capture close to 19 gigatonnes of carbon dioxide emissions a year — over half of the total #emissions generated in 2020.

The #wind industry reported a slight dip in installed #power capacity growth last year compared to the year before. 

New wind power installations totalled 93.6 gigawatts (GW) in 2021, a 1.8 per cent drop year-on-year, on the back of a record 54 per cent growth in 2020.

The Center for Sustainable Finance and Private Wealth Singapore (CSP SG) has hired Joan Yap as head of training.

CSP Singapore is a newly launched training and research institute based in Singapore with a mission to drive research and mobilise private wealth to achieve the targets set by the United Nations Sustainable Development Agenda 2030.

Yap joins CSP after a stint with Singapore Consultancy Pte. Ltd., where she was an ESG consultant.

Yap entered the sustainability sector in 2010 after a 25-year career in financial markets technology.
