Job Description
The Retail Planner drives sales plan through a consistent focus on studying the business, monitoring inventory and sales performance, and providing analysis necessary to bring in new products to fit the needs of the customer. Track sales performance of existing products and assist in the determination of next steps; this includes developing in-season forecasts and future merchandise plans for a given gender / class. Work closely with buying and Merchandising to optimize store assortments. Ensure that the merchandise financial targets are met including tracking and managing the open-to-buy sales and inventory.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS
Manage the OTB sales and inventory at gender/brand level and ensure that the merchandise targets are met on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Participate in weekly / monthly in-season forecast and OTB meetings
Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities; compare sales data of the planned gender / category to company sales and provide action plans to reconcile deviations
Partner with the sourcing/buying to actively manage inventory levels by increasing and decreasing inventory, and/or cancelling orders
On a monthly and quarterly basis, recap and report back on the sales and inventory results to plan, forecast in-season sales and inventory.

Partner with buyers to maintain store clusters using stock movement, capacity, geography by gender / category

Review orders with in-store date 30 days out to identify any changes required. Prioritize key styles/categories for delivery. Ensure pre-allocations meet store/cluster targets

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Strong aptitude with numbers and clear understanding of retail math
Strong organizational skills - ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Ability to communicate persuasively, influentially, and responsibly across a cross-functional team
Excels in team environments and in building / developing strong interpersonal relationships, while maintaining an individual determination to accomplish goals

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Job Description.
- Product development within target price from vendor.
- Price confirms with vendor and provides PO .
- Ensure supplier follows SOP at every process.
- Collection & sending of all necessary documents to onboard a vendor.
- To follow-up T & A on a regular basis to ensure on-time delivery with right quality and quantity.
- Co-ordinate with regional sourcing teams.
- Submission of Lab dips, Trims, bulk fabric, print colourways to the buyer for approval.
- Closely monitoring sampling approval process as per Critical path – Business calendar and provide real time update to vendor for approval.
- Analysing Critical path and meeting with the buyer.
- To ensure via regional teams that vendors have trims\fabrics etc in-house on time, so that production is done on time, ensuring timely delivery.
- To co-ordinate and update dispatches with warehouse & follow up on GRN.
- Regular quality checks with quality department and ensure right quality merchandise.
- Smooth and focussed shipment from techpack to warehouse in time with all quality parameters included .
- If in case of delayed shipment or incorrect quality then, follow result oriented approach , decision making in tandem with head of department & higher management and bring it to a conclusion.
- Time to time reporting to the head of the department with proper reports and updates twice a week.
- Reporting to the higher management in time critical shipments\ updates.
- If in case need, than also follow up payment issue.
