⚡️Opening of the first heavy-duty hydrogen filling station HYPION GmbH in Germany! 

EDF and its partner HanseWerk-Gruppe opened the first filling station with green hydrogen for heavy commercial vehicles in Neumünster, Germany.

✅ Equipped with two dispensers at 350 and 700 bar, it can dispense up to 2,000 kg of hydrogen per day. 

✅ With its location in the Scandinavien-Mediterranean transport corridor and proximity to the port of Hamburg, it will not only supply regional logistics, but also freight traffic throughout Europe.

The mobility sector is responsible for around 20% of annual carbon emissions worldwide and hydrogen will play an important role in reducing these emissions. This new step marks a significant milestone for the ramp-up of the hydrogen economy.

EDF is present in Germany to bring its expertise, alongside its German partners, on the decarbonization of the economy. The strong support of the public sector combined with the know-how of energy companies is a game changer in the economy of Hydrogen.
