Electrify America LLC was created in 2016 to build the largest network of electric vehicle DC fast charging stations. Our charging stations will be an average of only 70 miles apart on major routes across the continental United States. Depending on the vehicle’s capacity, electric vehicle drivers may be able to fast-charge their car in as little as 30 minutes.* With Electrify America DC fast charging stations, electric vehicle owners have the freedom to go just about anywhere— just like they would with a conventional car.

Electrify America is committed to building awareness of electric vehicles  through education and outreach. We work with local, state, and national  organizations as well as vehicle manufacturers to create opportunities to inform the general public about the benefits of driving electric.

Over the last five years, under the leadership of our President & CEO, Giovanni Palazzo, the Electrify America and Electrify Canada teams have had many accomplishments. Here are just a few:

⚡ Expanded our network coverage from 1 charging station when we began in the U.S. to over 800 charging stations across 46 states, plus D.C.
⚡ Launched future-focused, 150 kW and 350 kW only charging stations; our charging network won ‘Best in Test’ recognition two years in a row 
⚡ Established the Center of Excellence testing lab for vehicle interoperability with testing relationships with 20+ automakers
⚡ Launched three brands; Electrify Canada, Electrify Home, and Electrify Commercial 
⚡ Focused on improving our customer experience through many avenues, including our 24/7 Contact Center, 24/7 dedicated network operations team monitoring our network, and our Charger Upgrade Campaign to improve reliability by replacing more than 300 chargers last year
⚡ Became the first open network to launch Plug&Charge for the EV industry and community
⚡ Our charging to customers became is backed by 100% renewable energy effective since April 2022 through the purchase of renewable energy certificates from existing renewable generation. Additionally, our very own solar farm, Solar Glow 1, will launch later this year 
⚡ Secured Siemens Financial Services as our first external investor

The Joint Office of Energy and Transportation has announced creation of the National Charging Experience Consortium, with the goal to ensure a reliable and seamless charging experience. We’re excited to take part in this initiative and continue to serve the EV community! ⚡

We’re reaching new altitudes in our collaboration with Rocky Mountain Power, a division of PacificCorp!

Together, we’ll be installing 20 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and 80 individual chargers in Utah starting in 2024, with sites in Salt Lake City, the Wasatch Valley Front, and Moab. With this expansion, the EV community in Utah will have a more seamless, accessible EV driving experience.
