Bizerba, based in Meßkirch, specializes in testing the hardness of slicing machine knives. To securely lock these knives in place requires both skill and ingenuity. Often, we can provide expertise for such custom solutions alongside our hardness testing machines. In Bizebra's case, however, the customer brought their own innovative approach: they developed a unique specimen mount featuring a flexible, spherical ground surface as a bearing. This mount holds knives of various sizes and ensures they stay secure, emphasizing safety by preventing any risk of the sharp blades slipping. Recognizing the potential hazards involved in shipping and setting up these knives, the machine includes a side opening to facilitate easy insertion.
