🔒 Cybersecurity for Vehicle and Vessel Electrification As electrification advances, cybersecurity is crucial. Our emDrive inverters are designed to be cybersecurity-ready, built on robust automotive-grade hardware Aurix microprocessor, featuring an integrated Hardware Security Module (HSM) for secure data handling. 🛡️ Additionally, emDrive inverters have integrated secure development practices such as: ☑ Cryptography for firmware updates to ensure protection against unauthorized access, modifications and additions to source code. ☑ Secure boot is implemented, meaning that FW image is always checked at boot for any intentional changes, modification in binary or header ☑ Inverter have access level authorization algorithms to prevent unauthorized reading and or writing of key system parameters. Those are split on 6 respectful levels, while safety related parameters are treated completely separately with additional procedures to further protect changes or modifications ☑ Access to source code and FW within Aurix is prevented with additional keys and locking Debug port permanently ☑ Very limited possibility of severe damage due to safety plausibility checks in separate FW and core. ☑ Use of communication protocol UDS, enabling further implementation of security features Mentioned Inverter HW architecture and used security principles are important cornerstone in an ongoing process of achieving compliance with relevant standards such as ISO/SAE 21434.
